“ I don’t want to say goodbye
Stars falling from the sky
We will all be judged
By what we leave behind
I don’t want to say goodbye .”
Atticus Ross / Trent Reznor “A Minute to Breathe “, 2016
Minimalistic landscapes, actually “Land escape”, because of our environment and climate changes. Inspired by Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor’s song “A Minute to Breathe” from the film “Before the flood” (2016).
Series of twelve minimalist landscapes that explore the fragile interplay between nature and human impact. Each piece is a visual meditation on the tensions created by climate change and environmental degradation. Subtle gradients and abstracted horizons mimic the vanishing clarity of our planet’s ecosystems. The repetition of twelve, like twelve months or twelve hours, reinforces the cyclical nature of time and our limited window for change. Each landscape is both a place and an idea—an escape and an echo of what might be lost. The simplicity of the forms mirrors the stark reality of climate crisis, where complexity is often obscured by the overwhelming scale of the problem.
