I am a mixed media artist. I explore the relations of poetry, music and images.
My mixed media work is about finding and exploring the connections between poetry, music and images using a variety of techniques and media. My works combine elements of painting, photography, video art, post-processing, sound and words, creating multi-layered interpretative spaces. Poetry often becomes the impulse and basis for the creation of a work. Then I explore how different media can interact with each other to create an appropriate context. I use technology to create immersive experiences that encourage viewers to engage with my work and foster further immersion and reflection.
Through mixed media, I create a dialogue between various forms of art that expands our perception and understanding of the world around us.
Before the war, my focus was on the topics of the passage of time, human memory, technological progress and ecology. Now added to these are themes of identity and tracking the devastating changes wrought by war.
I live and work in Lviv, Ukraine
