Oksana Sobol is an interdisciplinary artist interested in the connections between poetry, sounds and images. Her works combine elements of painting, objects, photography, image processing, video and sound, as well as performative practices. Poetry often serves as the basis for her work. Different media can interact with one another, creating an immersive effect.
Until 2022, she focused on the themes of human-environment interactions with the flow of technological progress. Now, themes of identity and tracking the changes caused by war have been added to these.
